calculations help needed

I have gone down with a bit of analysis paralysis could someone who is good at mathematics please check if my calculations are right.

I have forex tester which does not have MTF moving averages so i am trying to display two MA's on my chart on the 4hr I wish to convert the 5EMA on the Daily chart and display it on the 4hr chart.

for displaying a Daily 5EMA on the four hour chart I would need to use the 30EMA on the 4hr and a 20EMA on the 1HR?

for displaying a Daily 60SMA on the four hour chart I would need to use the 360SMA on the 4hr and a 240SMA on the 1HR?

There is 24 hrs in a day so I would think a Daily 5EMA would correspond roughly to 24x5 = 120 on the 1Hr, and daily 60SMA to 24x60 = 1440 on the 1Hr.

Not sure how you are coming up with 20 and 240.

Why not just download the excel file from yahoo, work teh 5 ema and chart it

Ok I have 24x5 = 120
24x60 = 1440

I came up with 6x60 = 360 6x5 = 30?

hope this is correct way to show a MA . But thank you for your help
