Hello everyone. Im new to the world of trading even though ive been playing around with forex practice accounts and reading up on it in detail.

I just came into a good some of money (10-15K) and id like to invest it. Preferably in something that could pay monthly dividends...like an income fund. im not too educated on income funds and how they work so im looking for some advice from one of the pros here.

it doesn't HAVE to be an income fund but i am leaning towards something that will pay on monthly/bi monthly basis.

i also have a question...i noticed some income funds will pay 8% or so every month...my question is this...as the income fund goes up and down do i still get the 8% back of my original investment or does my 8% fluctuate with the value of the income fund? for example if i put in 10K when its @ a rate of say 25.00 per share but then it goes up to 30.00 or down to 20.00 am i still getting 8% of the 10k or does the amount of the dividend move along with the value of the fund?

hope that makes sense...

I think you're lining yourself up to be scammed. If one of these 'funds' said they pay 8% a month, every month, they are probably a HYIP scam or worse.
