An Interesting Question

I am of the opinion that the market (SPX and like) will go down for a while leading up to 12-21-2012. Or for you folks over seas 21-12-2012.

Maybe for months or could be a panic type crash some where along that time frame do to peoples ideas of what might happen to the world.
More likely would be that people might be temped to take their money out of the market 'til the new year or so just to be safe.

I find it interesting that some cycles I have looked at point to the first of January '13 as being a possible longer term bottom.
At first I didn't think much of it, just another bottom but being so close to that 12-21-2012 thingy I figure that what I have out lined above would be, at least in part, a player in why that time frame would be a bottom.

Any one else ever spend any "thought juice" on this at all?
