April 27, 2010 at 12:35 pmAfter many months of reading the content on this website I decided to have a look at some of the comments today. The number of people who actually read these thinking they are real articles is abslutely brilliant. It even says “satire” in the link FFS. Jesus Christ some people are thick.
And, Tom, who cares if it’s offensive to Satanists; it’s ****ing satire. It’s not real.
Now away and sacrifice a goat or something .

The above is a comment from a reader of that site.

Now, Ambrose, I know that you are not in that category so can only assune that you are a Brown tainted conservative!

These articles are definitely real Mr Split.

They must be if they're on tinternet.

I don't vote Mr Split.

I have witnessed western style democracy at first hand and don't like what I see.

But I thought that these articles should serve as a warning to naive people who are planning to vote for this monster who calls himself Clegg, despite his Russian and Dutch origins.

Well, if you don't vote I take back my comment. I don't vote because I live abroad. Why don't you like western democracy? It's flawed, but the only thing worth having.

I believe that what we are being shown before the elections is only the tip of the iceberg. The West can't owe what it owes and get away with it.

I have lived in many countries during my life Mr Split and I am currently residing temporarily in the UK.

I have witnessed other forms of democracy, limited democracy, benevolent dictatorships and outright fascist dictatorial regimes.

Some of these, or combinations of these, can work, depending on the environment and the culture and nature of the peoples in those countries.

I dislike the UK first past the post system as theoretically Labour could come third in the popular vote and Gorgon Bruin could still be the PM in a coalition government.

This would be a nonsense and I can't see it happening in reality, but it is a possibility.

I think there should be some kind of rule which states that the PM must come from the party with the largest number of seats, and ideally the largest percentage of the popular vote.

And there should be another rule which states that dangerous , evil monsters like Clegg should be barred from standing for election.

what the F are you talking about.... all you people who believe the bull5hit that comes out of the conservatives will regret it when they unleash their true policies around how they plan to fix this mess.. at least the lib dems are honest about their policies and have a realistic approach.. take immigration for instance.. people just quickly dismiss lib dems view on it as a free ticket to come here.. the policy is good because it would increase the government income, and also reduce the crime rate. the only thing i would add to it is this, only illegal immigrants that have been here since 1990 till now will be accepted and they would have to prove that fact.. with the new points system and tighter boarder controls, this policy would deal with the problem and not mean a free ticket to social services for new comers. neither labour or conservatives wish to deal with this issue like this and prefer to turn a blind eye... additionally, how can the government waste hundreds of millions of cold war replacement systems when they could better direct that cash flow towards improving infrastructure that would create jobs. both labour and conservatives are idiots and i find it amusing how people are looking to vote in a party that has a good track record of screwing things up. its time to deal with real issues in a logical way instead of looking at self gain...

David Cameron may be a bit of a plonker but at least he does not eat children.

Clegg is sick and should be locked up in the Tower.

pathetic to even think such a claim without founded evidence can actually be believed... no wonder forex scams continue to make money for their inventors... people are so gullible

Clegg has been exposed and people like you just cannot cope with the sudden realisation that your heroes are in fact sadistic monsters.

I feel so sorry for his wife.

Not sure about his kids though, he's probably already eaten them, poor sods.

People are not gullible at all.

As I said before, these reports are on tinternet and must therefore be true.

I agree that the first past the post system could be improved.

The boundaries need changing and should consist of 450 constituencies representing some 150,000 people. The way it is now is not fair but neither is proportional representation satisfactory. Most of the countries that practice it end up with coalition governments and nothing seems to get done and the seats are filled by whoever the PM wants, not a person voted in by the electorate.

As far as Clegg is concerned, as you don't like him, we'd ban him.

How awful. Charlie Kennedy would have had the sense to marinate them in a good single malt first. I think the first article is inspired by Jonathan Swift's "Modest Proposal".

A pedant writes: A good article, spoilt by lack of precision. I feel sure that David Cameron's prep school would have taught him the correct spelling of the past participle of the verb "to pay".

I'm wondering if Mr Split himself is entitled to vote in our elections, as he appears to reside on the Costa del Crime. EDIT: Ah, I see he is not (or does not vote in them, which is not the same thing).

Ugh! If elected, he will give our schoolchildren caviar covered in chocolate spread!

No, I've lost the privilege. :D But I still take a morbid interest in what you are letting yourselves in for. What a pity that I don't have one of those postal votes that the Pakistanis seem to be getting hold of!

Mr. Split? I must say that you all getting very polite, these days. It must be 13 years of New Labour government.

Were you originally from Rochdale by any chance? :)
