Anyone going to watch the leaders debate?

It will be interesting to see if, in the best British tradition, the audience ignore the rules and show a bit of reaction.

Apart from that, all I expect to see is Gordo doing his "I've just farted" smile, Dave grovelling to the apathetic "where's my next Giro" brigade, and Clegg slagging off the other two.

My remote doesn't have a "Punch Brown" button so no.

My remote doesn't have a "Punch all of the b4rstards" button, so no for me too. I won't be voting either, and I would encourage everyone to do the same. A pathetically low turnout is one of the only good results that we could get in this sham of an election.

Have been chuckling listening to the BBC cream themselves over it, they're expecting an audience similar to the coronation or Engerlund winning the world cup when they get their gig...as out of date as their paymasters and desperately trying to hold the t'interweb back and push their tired old media agenda...

I'll be watching, it'll be 5hite though, be great if Brown forgets to take his Tamazzies and Mandy does his make up...

If the Tories wanted a poster to win the election (not that I give a fook) this is all they need with 2 words;

EPIC FAIL

If you are interested in the classical theory of rhetoric or "spin it might be interesting. For example, you could count the number of times MP's answer questions with a short "yes" or "no." :whistling

Aside from the above, if you are young - emigrate(y)

But to where would you emigrate?
Serious question.

ps. Am watching them go at it.... i feel both anger and despair.

pps. To the guy that said "dont vote" because it says something - i had this very discussion with someone the other day and we decided that it is actually better to go and spoil your voting card. It says more than just not bothering. Just an idea.

if you were interviewing for the C.E.O. of UK plc Clegg would get the job without needing the second interview...IMO...

P.S. I'd go to Canada...or maybe (in a contrarian move) parts of Ireland, perhaps Cork where over the next couple of years 3 bed apartments with Ocean/sea views will be less than 100K...

Watched the first 5 minutes.

Complete and utter loada cobblers.

Never felt so apathetic in my whole life about this country.

Frick politics and politicians, frick democracy.

Modern day Guy Fawkes....please step forward.

I notice that they didn't invite Nick Triffid to the debate tonight.

Him and Gordon could have eyeballed ( singular ) each other.

Probably wouldn't have seen eye to eye though.

Furthermore, you should be able to vote for "none of the above".
I believe this is actually done in some places.
