came across as a complete pillock... I think that this has harmed the BNP

not so much question time but the nick griffin roadshow. dimbelby was poor.

The protesters were incredibly stupid. They claimed that the BBC shouldn't be giving him a voice, in essence that he was having a chance to advertise his views on the BBC, yet by their own protests and arrests, they gave Nick Griffin more publicity and advertising for free. That was the main story even before the show. Idiots.

I think it is good to allow people like him to speak. It makes everyone realise what an ass he is and how stupid those that vote for him really are. I also think that Dimbleby was smart in letting him make a fool of himself. HE gave him just enough rope...

Anyone see the thing on TV a couple of weeks ago where they interviewed the wife of his number two, at home.

First off I think it's terrible that people weren't recognising ethnic British/Angle Saxon). It's not to say they deserve more rights but if someone tried to take my heritage away from me I'd stick an icepick in their eye. It's their strongest leg to stand to so to speak IMO.

I don't understand why none of the other MP's asked him to outline of his economic and monetary policy to deal with the rising unemployment, a forecast contraction in GDP and how his immigration policy would contribute to sustainable growth... and to back it up with figures.

I think they did a very poor job of making him look an idiot. The program was tedious at best. Instead of asking him intelligent and thoughtful political questions that would have scrutinised BNP policy and revealed it as comparatively incoherent ranting the rest of the panel decided to pander to the media by slinging of pre-packaged sound bites. Especially that Asian woman who seemed to be reading off of an Autocue. She was uber Tory... meticulously planned responses ready to be slipped in, nice friendly hand gestures. She was like a poor mans Michael Howard.

Jack Straw seemed completely unprepared and should retire. This whole immigration debacle is obviously Labour's fault. They just haven't done enough to educate the public on their policies and have decided that as masters of the country the people should not really be consulted or considered about major decisions.

That Lib Dem tw@ really p1ssed me off with his "not enough" Lib dems spiel. Liverpool has had a lib dem council for years and we saw minimal growth after the riots until about 3 yrs ago when corporate money poured into the docklands etc (property lol) for the enterprise scheme tax breaks and government grants. What we did see however was a lib dem council leader (who through the grape vine has property dealing with various known drug dealers) sacked for embezzlement only to be rehired in another position. Councillors were also all drawing salaries from various capital of culture "consultancy" companies that I traced to websites that were no more than a picture on a front page lol.

Dunno where I'm going with all this but in short I think I'm voting Monster Raving Looney

I'm too anarchistic and anti establishment to stand for anyone.

TF you talk about people's heritage, but what is that exactly? We're ALL mixed race. We've got the genes from probably most of the races around the world at some point. There is no heritage. Someone might be primarily white, but don't be surprised that they have some celtic, some european, some slavic, some arab, some black genes etc. in their past. Anyone who thinks they are some sort of pure specimen, is deluding themselves. You're born into a country, it doesn't belong to you, its history doesn't belong to you. If you're born into a country like England, you got lucky, or your family were smart at some point and moved to a first world country. Some are not so lucky. It is ok if you want to feel proud, but you can't hate a modern german because germany has a bad history because it has nothing to do with them. That's just stupid, and the cause of so many problems. Likewise you can't expect to have any benefits over anyone else in the country just because you got one generation luckier than someone else.

There is no heritage except what you and your family own.

...Immigration has been treated like a hot potato by successive Governments since Maggie's swamping tirade...on which she get elected...and then she screwed people to the hilt....People lost schools, hospitals all wrapped up under the slogan 'cost effective'....and I will bash Unions...!

...Now the election season is looming....the immigration hot potato has been aired for time being so that every party can rise to the occassion to lure the unintelligent....

...Immigration has been the issue since time immemorial in this country and will be the case....No Government has ever managed to curb it fully...and no Government will ever do that either...

...After all what better to rouse the people, there are no ecomony policies to discuss....No manufacturing might....No way to have ability to maintain NH...or Schools.....So best thing...Blame it all on immigrants.....Collect them all while they are cleaning the toilets and working late hours and doing menial jobs and ship them back to their country...!

...I think UK should do that....just like Africans did it in 70's.....and then the whole country fell flat on the face...Uganda, Tanzanina etc etc...

...The so called fair and open discussion will keep going until next 10 generation in this country...!!

So what you are saying is that because we all come from tadpoles way way back in time that means none of us has any right to be exclusively British and that this island should be available to all and sundry?

You don't have to go that far back in time ian. Get a gene test, find out where you're really from and I'm not talking about how we all came from Africa once. I mean much more recently than that.

Exclusively British made me laugh. You're British, that's fine. I couldn't begin to imagine what exclusively british is. You're British, the same level of British as anyone else who was born here or has a British passport. No more, no less. Does it say exclusively British on your passport? If it makes you feel better to claim yourself some exclusive title that only exists in your mind, go ahead. I'm not stopping you. But I just won't agree with you.

And I was talking about heritage. The country doesn't belong to you. I know, because I live here, and you have no control over me. Look after yourself and your family, provide for them, give them a heritage in terms of property and money etc, and don't worry about who should and shouldn't be in the country or getting special rights. Obviously there has to be some reason about how many people can come to a country at any one time. But if this is a major concern, then you should first begin by not invading or warring with any countries which creates millions of refugees and immigrants. Don't try to claim some heritage from the country, because it doesn't exist. It belongs to the people that live there as a whole, not the white people. That was my point to TF.

I watched that shambles of a programme last night and what was very clear to me was that Griffin lacked the ability to argue his case intelligently, logically and coherently.

The man showed himself up to be the moron that he so obviously is.....he is the same as the rest of the so called BNP.....full of slogans and chants but without the depth of knowledge to argue any political angle in an intelligent fashion.

On another note, I was disappointed in Jack Straw.

He rambles, avoids the question and is a sh1t speaker.

On the other hand the lady from the Conservative party talked clearly, concisely and sensibly.

She was a revelation.

Loved the poet lady too.

On the whole a pretty crap programme and I think the BNP made no friends from that completely chaotic situation.

Griffin is a twerp and should be sectioned under the Mental Health Act.

How the f**k he managed to get into Cambridge I will never know !!!

I wonder what the French and Italians think of the brits who have emmigrated to the Dordogne and Tuscany? Just highlighting the fact that some people talk of immigration conveniently forgetting that the British are sometime immigrants in another country yet express umbrage if referred to as immigrants

Well, providing said brits dont march around their adopted new home with angry screwed up faces bradishing hate filled placards and demand that everyone should wear union jack shorts and their women all get tatoo's then I cant see there being any problems...
