Hello, this is my first post and I am pretty new to trading.
Basicly I have tried over the years to mnage my own account with little or no success and three years ago deposited 170.000 sterling with Standard life managed investment account which today is worth 160.000 sterling ( zero taken out up to now )
I am considering a change of direction for my funds and would be interested in hearing from account managers with a good history and track record.

Anyone interested could send me a private message and I will get back to discuss everything properly.

Thank you

Hi Dublin,
You should not trust an account manager.. alot depends on what you want this money for - I would reccomend ETF's for some of your investments though.. you can get good exposure to lots of different scenarios like emerging markets and commodities and can also buy ETF's that give you protection against a falling market (short ETF's).. I think this is a growing area and commissions are cheap - again if you were smart enough to make this money you are probably smarter than most account managers you would run into - you would be wasting your money and possibly risking your capital .

Why would you think you'll find an account manager here for heavens sake ? its complete insanity

at least by asking on forums, there might be people able to introduce which fsa registered fund manager is still looking for investor & been trading for around 10 years.

Hi

Please check out "wirraltraders" tweets in http://www.twitter.com for the last weeks performance.

The Money Management rules we teach are that you should not risk more than 3% of your account in your trading to procduce the correct risk/reward. That means that we/you could have traded to a maximum risk of £4,800, or to put it another way a stop loss of 100 trading 7 lots (£6.52 approx per lot on the GBP/USD).

As you will see (time stamped by Twitter and historically accurate so that it cannot be fudged in any way), the last 7 days of our trading yielded a total of +411 pips with fortunately no losing trades. This would have put +£19728.00 on your account in the last week. Admittedly this was a particularly good week in that there were no losing trades, but that is not that unusual....

regards

What about the last 7 months or 7 years. 7 days means nothing.

That is very true, but seeing as we only opened the twitter acount a week ago and these are live trades posted in advance of taking the trade and posted only on Twitter, that would be rather difficult to do there.

I actually teach, in both live one on one courses here at my Trade Room and on one to one Webinars, what I preach. I also allow my clients to view my own performance, before they take the course and our trades ongoing during the course. At the end of the day it is do as I do and have done, not do as I say....

I think I'll leave it there if thats ok with you. My Trade room is a converted Stables in the grounds of my House. I trade my own account. The people who know about me already know about me.

Best of luck to you all...

One good one I know of is S.T. Corporation or known as Savvvy Trader Corp found at www.savvytradercorp.com and is offering multiple broker options and shows an excellent history so far. Triple digits in only a few months. Hope this helps.
