I've been reading that the Senate will be voting today (Wed) on the new proposal...does anyone know what time they are expected to start the debate and/or what time they will be voting (London time if poss ;) )?

Also, my knowledge of the US legislative procedure is not up to scratch - assuming the bill gets passed by the senate, am I correct in thinking that it has to go back to the House of Representitives for another vote? If so, did the original bill go get voted on by the Senate or did it go straight to the House?

Thanks....

"The final version of the bill, still being drafted by lawmakers, is expected to go to the vote after 7.30pm Washington time."
