Hello,

I am selling my UK car registration BAO 86Y, a brilliant representation of BAD BOY.

If anyone is interested in the registration please message me.

The number is currently on retention and ready to transfer...

Thanks

That name, plus the required amount of jiggling with the legally compulsory typeface, should guarantee a pull by every passing copper.....
Makes for interesting journeys I suppose.

BAD 80Y would be worth something... but BAO 86Y a bit too much of a stretch of the imagination for most....

Could easily be confused with BAD GAY if people read that 8 wrong.

You could then go bashing straight people.....

Is that politically correct?

Where's the PC brigade when you need them! :p

A.K.A. Council house private plate.

I saw P911 RUF... how cool. Porsche 911, tuned by Ruf? Must be worth a lot. It was on a mid-90s Micra.

Best one I ever saw was on a documentary about the college spring break in America. There was a flashy sports car being driven slowly along road by the side of a beach, two young guys in the front, 2 blondes in the back and the plate was -

'Thanks Dad'

But basically it's for revolting little chavs who think that driving a Nissan Micra with a spoiler and a loud stereo makes them a gangster. These people are largely morons but the world needs em as I have no intention of hooping over the counter and getting my own big mac and fries. ;)

Personally I think there's sthg a little strange with wanting to have your personalized license plate.

If you want a cool license plate then go buy yourself a decent Ambassadorship. ;-)

Eg Germany's Ambassador to Finland has CD - 1001.

CD is self-explanatory, 10 is the guest countries Embassy to Finland, and 01 the respective Ambassador. (All other numbers per Embassy apart from in some cases 02 or 03 for the ambassdors private cars are assigned on a random basis meaning they are not an indication of rank).

EG like this:

fin_cd-3302.jpg

33 is Israels Embassy to Finland, eg the Israeli Ambassador has CD - 3301.

Yup, Corps Diplomatique, ay per the Vienna convention on diplomatic privileges where all countries have some form of special numbers for guest diplomats accredited to their host foreign ministries.

Think over in UK / London CD plates just have a small "D" for diplomat, although I think ambassadors cars have the first three letters for their country, and then a 1.

EG Germany would be "GER 1" for Monsier L'ambassadeurs official car, while his private car(s) and your "normal" diplomat from say Norway for a change would have "225 D 150", where 225 stands for guest country, Norway, D for Diplomat, and 150 is the internal number allocated to respective diplomat from the ambassadors private cars on to all other personnel with diplomatic status on a random basis.

Cooooooorrrrrr Diplomateeek.
aren't we all supposed to be speaking french by now and doing away with this ghastly english language anyway ?

(except those of us from northern europe, who are supposed to be speaking german now :) )

Exile, hehe :D

PS, best idea RE license plates is what Mrs Sachsen-Coburg-Gotha has, ie none at all.

(PS i am dyslexic but am taking the mick)

I've seen a Volvo on the M4 a couple of times with the plate D8 RAP. Nice!

Also on the M4 was Tim Rice in his Roller: LYR1CS.

And the other day I was next to a fairly bland car with P1XAR.

Around West London you see so many you get used to them.
