What accusations? I said they removed my posts... they did. If they don't like me calling them Gestapo then why doesn't the "infraction" say that?

You mean I'm breaking rules by posting the same information that's held under the infractions tab in my publicly available profile? I'll be sure it never happens again.
Can I ask then why Republic was not reprimanded for posting up the PM between him and myself - you know the one which really kicked it all off with Toast?
Also, to ensure I don't get myself into any further trouble or contravene any more site rules, would it be possible for me and the others to get a list of which of our t2w gripes are permissible for discussion in public? It would save me the time of writing the posts and you and your colleagues the time it takes to delete them.

P.S. Can you please tell me what comments I've aimed at t2w staff in recent weeks? I'm genuinely at a loss here as I only remember making a joke about having a cage fight with timsk and am wondering why that would be deemed reprimandable breach of guidelines. I think that's the first post I've had deleted in ages and certainly the only one in which I mentioned a member of t2w staff. Thanks again.

It was not the posting of a PM that resulted in the infraction in your case and I was just reminding you of the rules as you have twice posted a PM in recent times.
We don't have the time to say what you can and cannot post, most posts that get deleted are as a result of them being reported and that is how it works. In my view, most of what you post is fine but if they get reported then it has to be addressed.

I don't know how many times we have to tell them. The way things are set up, report post, gets the attention of mods which in turn either results in an action, or no action.
The members are largely responsible for the moderation of T2W.
Anyone who says different must, as new_trader says, be a cretin.

That argument makes absolutely no sense. You are a commercial trading forum, with a definate adgenda. You have rules and guidelines (which are possibly out of date), which is direct evidence that someone somewhere thought it appropriate to spend the time to say what can and cannot be posted. I would suggest that still applies.
The other issue of course which should be bleedin obvious, is that whilst its possible to report a post, its not possible to do the opposite.
This potentially leads to a farsical situation where 140,000 members may be in complete agreement with a post, but it gets removed becuase 3 people complain ! (I know the figures are an exaggeration but hopefully you get the point)
To suggest that members set site policy really is an insult to peoples intelligence.
I honestly dont have a clue whats acceptable, and what isnt any more, perhaps its lack of moderation due to absenses, but there's been a noticable change over the last week or so, and not for the better.
