If the fatcat Union bosses had come out with something sensible then I would agree.
As if Joe Public isn't going to suffer enough as it is !!
The fatcats aren't going to lose their cushy overpaid jobs, get a decrease in huge perks and pension pay-offs, oh no.
How about it " Call-me-Dave" in doing it fairly. None of the smoke and mirrors tricks with the poor picking up the tab as usual.
He could make all pensions equal the minmum state pension of £69 a week for instance until the debt is paid off !

Western leaders still haven't realized that there are not enough proper jobs to go round.
We don't want old people to hang onto their jobs for ever.
They ought to join the army and die an honourable death in Afghanistan or someplace !!
