Hi Guys,

A friend of mine from the States who wants to trade, but has been told NO by his wife for blowing previous accounts (lol), has asked me a few questions I don't the answers to, so I thought I'd put them to you guys.

Here in the UK we usually get our trading statements via email. My pal says that the norm over there in Yankland is to get paper statements through the post. His question is this: Are there are any forex brokers out there who will only send electronic statements only and if so, which ones?

My second question follows on from the first: Out of the ones named, which are MT4 brokers and do any of them allow trading of micro lots?

Thanks in anticipation!

Alpari are micro lots and have American offices I believe... I'm sure they will do email only if asked.

He could always use your postal address as a correspondence- just incase they did send out a letter sometime. He doesn't want to be found out!

Err statements through the post ?
He will be telling you next that he sends his market orders to his broker by carrier pigion

To the last two guys first: Neither had I and I thought it strange too. That said, none of us live in America and I for one can't refute it. I doubt he would say such a thing if he hadn't had experience with it in the past. Apparently it's a requirement by the IRS.

To UKtradergirl: I'd consider doing that for a small payment! ;-)

And to Wasp: Yes, Alpari do have an American office. It would would seem kinda weird if he opened an account with the UK branch though.

I suppose the easiest solution would be for him to go directly to each broker and ask them categorically. He assumed I'd know immediately and he was very wrong in such an assumption! lol

Just remember if you get involved and he blows up another account behind his wifes back you'll be on the divorce papers

havent heard of such thing getting statements from post..

And to TomTom. I get statements through the postal system, (which is quite amazing for Tenerife in any case), through IG. I don't even bother opening them as I already know what is what.

Get a post office box and have them send the statements there..

The IRS requires anyone who pays you more than $400 per year to to send you a statement in January but from the sound of it I don't think that's going to be an issue for this guy <snicker>.

What do the stock exchange and your mates wife have in common?

When they go down you never hear the end of it!

Oanda for micro-micro-lots!

BTW he should divorce his wife because he's already trying to deceive her, irrespective of whether he blows his account or not. Clearly, he has no respect for her wishes.

I have decided to apply for divorce. Considering the recession now, there are many factors that we need to look in now and I really do not want to get bankrupt. I am having a terrible family life and I hope someone would suggest me. Please do not ask me to speak with my wife. I have given up and I feel Divorce alone can save my life

statements or not she goes through your email, so she will know.

Please understand that there are lawyers available to handle situation like yours. But just because someone is qualified doesn't necessarily make them good. It is always good to hire a divorce lawyer who specializes in family law. But the issue is you need to have a budget and I would suggest you to think about cost effective solution on the same. Why don’t you check here (Insert Website) and find out. I think my friend used the same.

You need to make up your mind. Are you about to embark on the emotional turmoil of a divorce or
Are you going to embark on the emotional turmoil of trying to become a trader.

I strongly recommend that you dont take on both at the same time.
