Having read the Knowledge Lab article, and signed up for his 3-month trial, I wonder if anyone has any experience of his mentoring?

( the 3 -month trial is just $30, so hardly a big investment )

I really like his style of writing in his ebooks and on his website, it has a refreshingly to-the-point quality, and his humour is quirky.

I get the impression the mentee  has to provide a trading plan, and Rob, the mentor, provides tutoring to improve the plan, rather than imposing his own trading plans.

Any experiences ?

Have never objected to Rob Booker sending me emails about his site and courses.

But his recent one was about "making 2,000 pips per week".
his gives seminars, and his latest one in Atlanta was for about $800. (sold out)

Has he gone over to the dark-side regarding being a trainer over a trader?

The Rob Booker Forex Seminar. In Atlanta.

if it werent for the fact it was Rob Booker, I would have binned the email immediately.

Mentor normally always means vendor these days.

It's nothing but a rebranding.

Must say that only guy to which i would give money for mentoring is Mr.Sam Seiden.(so far)
Guy worked on CME for some time.He was handling institutional orders.
Now days he is running classes at Online trading academy which are, sadly, very pricey. He also trades for his own account which,he claims,is his main resource of $$$.He trades for a living last 15 years. He is recognized by NFA.
I have watched his webinars at FXStreet. Here is the link, check it if you like.
Sam Seiden
His methods are guided by simple logic. No smoke and mirrors.Basically,he uses just concept of Supply/Demand to trade.I am 1000% sure that when i have enough money to pay 6000$ for 3 months of his classes i will do so.
I know that this is little bit off topic so please excuse me,Trendie:)
I am not saying that Rob Booker is not good enough.Just saying that Sam Seiden have had greatest impact on mine development as trader.
Cheers,
VTK

His book 'adventures of a currency trader' is one of my favourite books! However I signed up to his trade recommendations as his style is totally different to mine and I wanted to study his trades. I haven't taken any of the recommendations that he made as I just wanted to watch them, but he has been a net looser over all. Iv been watching his trades for about 6 months. The real scary thing is though his losses are usually 3-4 times larger than his profits. His initial targets are usually 1:1 but he seems to change his mind half way through and take small amounts. Strange if you ask me...
