Fx competition - strategy and signals

I am looking to evaluate strategies and reward the most profitable, I have seen there are several strategy building front ends such as metatrader, ninja, metastock and trade station, however there seems to be no uniform language or way that I can judge performance.

I was thinking of letting people convert there strategies into excel, or could anyone suggest another uniform method? I want to create my own site so don't want to use any of the existing strategy comparison platforms.
