Is Sports Spread Betting Regulated by the FSA?

Hi all,

I was just wondering whether sports trading/ spread betting is regulated my the FSA. In other words are the guys who work on the trading desk of a firm such as SportingIndex FSA approved persons. I noticed on their site that the company is regualted by the FSA, but does this include all employees.

Regulated does not mean "approved by". If the employees were offering investment advice then they are supposed to be registered individually with the FSA. In my view in this case as they are not giving investment advice then there is no reason why they would be.
