Hi ya'll!

I've decided to give it another go!!! I spent several months trading forex back in 2008. I made a few quid to start with but I was using Easy Forex :mad::mad: bunch of :whistling

Yes..! they let you make money to give you confidence and then when you open a larger account...Wham Bahm thank you Maam!!

Anyway, Ive ordered the Net Trap sytem - just a few minutes ago in fact. I figured i would try it out for a month or so at £1 a pip. Naturally, I thought it was a scam at first but after reading the massive thread on it, I decided to give it a try.

I am building my own house full time and have put nearly everything I have into it so if I can earn a few quid in the early mornings before i start work..I can eat too and pay my school leaver Son a modest wage...well that's the idea, anyhow.

I will pick it up again (forex) quick enough.

My question iss.. Any recommendation on Trading platforms apart from IG, I want something accurate, that responds and gets you into your trades without any costly delays or annoying lack of response. Server lag and all that rubbish.

I remember easy forex and I was listening to the US non farm payroll on a a news trader feed. by the time I got into the trade, it had jumped 40 pips:mad::mad:

Also what sort of account do you recommend? and again IG or someone else? I obviously don't want to work with a bigger spread than I have to..

Cheers, I'll look forward to hearing from ya (y)

If you're not that experienced with trading £1 per pip is a hefty whack to start with. With regards to your first broker, I can't really see them skewing results to benefit them if you're not really trading anything that can be called a significant amount. Most brokers have no need to do this, there's enough people (me included) who lose money trading anyway without brokers having to stop hunt.

If you want to start off with a smallish capital try Alpari for FX, a year or so ago they had a few problems with server timeouts and requotes but they seem to have fixed this and are a non dealing desk broker which should allay your paranoia about them stop hunting.

IG index are good, if you're looking to spreadbet, as spreadbet companies go that is, they're one of the top. As for the type of account, if you're going with £1 per point to start with you want to open a Plus Account as they have smaller spreads, and take advantage of the 6 week trade sense course they offer that lets you start with 10p per pip for six weeks.

As for this Net Trap system, I've never heard of it, it sounds like an automated robot to me, just go careful with these things, they have a habit of failing eventually and usually come with massive DrawDowns which means if you're account is not of sufficient size it could blow your account.

I'm not a trading guru of any means, I've blown multiple accounts and still lose money even today, this is just my thoughts since it's some of the pitfalls that I fell into when I first started,

Happy trading,

Chris
