Potential Scam

I am a newly registered member and would like to know if anyone out there has any knowledge of a broker called Blanc and Baumar of Zurich, Switzerland.
They are currently pushingthe Investex Emerging Markets Private Equity Fund - I'm interested in any of your experiences whatsoever.

They are apparently NOT authorised by the Swiss authorities...................

Also the phrase 'We will serve individual investors, like you, with a clear duty of care' appears exactly on the World Capital Securities website, another banned boiler room scam.

At least he asked BEFORE sending them 10 grand or whatever, normally people only ask after theyve done that

Yes, true enough. I suppose he deserves a point for prudently asking and a point for public-spiritedly alerting everyone else here. But minus a point for wasting even a second on this and minus another point for presuming we might be so gullible. Net result flat.

They are a boiler room scam.
You will not see your money.
I have bogus share certs. checked with companies concerned, they have no record!
If it seems to good to be true, it normally is......! (for memory bank)
Seem not to flag up under Blanc & BaumAr on google, it wants to spell it baumEr, maybe that's why they don't show so easily.
Offices in Switzerland are probably just postal or more likely virtual.
I have been told it's unlikely I'll see my wonga.
Light in tunnel?
Had recent contact from Hong Kong Police that they have an account on hold and a suspect arrested? but this will be just one of the 'clearing accounts' they use
Atlantic Admin is another.

It obviously varies, that makes sense.
I can assure you I have the correct spelling in my case, though it may well vary for their purposes. The address is the same!
