am a newbie on this site and looking to start researching/studding on commodity trading and start learning.

my first question is who has any info on TCA and their remote trader programs?

search on this site, but just putting in "tca" will not work. try "tca markets" of "tca futures". They have an awful reputation I am afraid - one of their arms went down owing a lot of money to people

keep out of TCA

TCA Financial Limited - Global Financial Markets Limited

You are not the only person losing sleep over this scam.

TCA Financial / Global Financial Markets Scam for info. Post a reply to the thread or follow the e-mail to get assistance.

Anyone with any additional information on TCA please get in touch as the more information we have the stronger the position we will all be in.

A company affliated with TCA are taking me to court for the training I never received. Its all getting very stressful.

From what I can tell they set up a new company, transfer everything to that then the old one shuts down or goes into administration. There have been several companies liquidated in the past, yet despite this their webiste states they have been going successfully since 1991. I think that is very misleading advertising.

If you think you can help me with my court action or know any further information on this mess please let me know. So far I'm on to Watchdog, the Echo, Guardian, my MP, the FSA, Financial Ombudsman, the liquidator of an earlier company in the hope the directors get struck off for continuing to trade, the ASA and even complaining to the Law Society about the solicitor that is party to all this.

If you want to join and fight this together or increase our chances of publicity call me:
or PM me.

Tell TCA and their affiliates to go and f*ck themselves.

Companies of all kinds very rarely take people to court as they have to lay out
more cash to get you there and then they have to get you to pay even if they
win the case.

This is all just conjecture but I should imagine the lawyers behind the TCA action will be as bent as a nine bob note and actually will take it to court. When they do this, do continue reporting them to the law society. And rape their daughters. Fact is you can't ignore this, they're unscrupulous and vindictive ******s so whatever happens you're going to have to get your hands dirty.

There have been rumours of connection of disorganised (I think this is the best term... it ain't guys who will kill you without warning, just general thuggery) crime as well getting involved...

I'm not going to suggest a solution, but given the above try to use your imagination :)

incidentally if you don't have much to lose by doing so I strongly advise you to mock them on the phone.

seriously, it's good if they lose money. Whatever their initial intentions, and I think they were probably good at first, they turned into really rather nasty ones...

Thanks gedward3 although myself and atleast 3 others have received court papers so they actually really are trying to get £3,000 for a scam company that provides nothing.

You seem to know about them quite well. Do you know of anyone who successfully defended their case and how they did this? Also if you know anyone who has been or is going through this please PM me. The more evidence we have the better and the more chance watchdog will take up the case. I've spoken to them but the more people I can put them in touch with the more chance of getting it on TV and warning everyone else out there.

Not to mention the amount of laws they've broken, advertising, trading standards, breach of regulation, misfilings at companies house... the list goes on. There is a real chance that with enough weight behind it the directors could be struck off and hopefully face fines, even prison.

I will take a look at their daughters before making my mind up, but thanks for the idea!

Joe,

Did you sign any papers or a contract. If so can you post the contract on here and maybe
some people with a legal background can offer you some help.

If not there will be a couple of thousand people that will probably look at it and give you a nudge in the right direction.

Anyway even if you go to court they still have to win the case. You can represent yourself and look on the internet for evidence.

Better still find a trainee law student and let them help on the case with you then at
least they are gaining experience and you get some of their knowledge.

All the best

Any tips appreciated

Here is a link to the agreement.

TCA Agreement

According to the FSA register it would appear the company was not legally regulated to fulfil their side of the contract.

If anyone knows more about this area of law please enlighten me.

Also as I've not received so much as a manual from them so surely there must be some consumer protection law in existence in the UK that prevents scam artists collecting money for doing absolutely nothing.

Joe,

Looking at that contract there is no cancellation policy in there which im sure could
make this policy void. Did you receive any letters with the contract about how much cancellation period you would have.

All products and training must have this otherwise it affects your Statutory Rights.

Any respectable lawyer would have defined "the company" better than that... it reads like someone who read an intro to contract law at uni wrote it. When drunk.

Frankly if they try to enforce it I would have a word... they're about as threatening as a banana. One thing to bear in mind is since they are constantly phoenixing half the time at best it will be receivers chasing after you...

I just looked at it a bit more carefully, it's definitely complete ****e. I would be amused greatly if a genuine solicitor (i.e. not a twat) was actually involved, there's just so much in it that is silly.

What about it do you think is rubbish?

They charge a clearing levy but do not register with any exchanges... and most people never get to trade live anyway, they spend months on a simulator they could get free....

Its all rather confusing.

WFG's idea of building wealth is anything but a client first methodology. They will attempt to gain you as a client then ask you to work with them to do the same. Some liken it to a pyramid scheme. Although they do have a legit business I wouldn’t recommend it. There are plenty of other companies that do financial consultations for free that have a much better reputation then them. I know this because I am a financial planner in the industry. When you say more room, what are you pertaining too? RRSP's? There is a cap no matter how you look at it. There are of course other strategies that can be implemented for comparable tax savings and other concepts that you may find useful.Private Detectives

I dont understand those people....

they prefer to get 3000 pounds for a few people and destroy their reputation ???

who is going to join their company after all these ????
