How do I use Ninja trader or tradestation from a Norwegian broker?

Hi!
I live in Norway and use daily Nornet Wintrade and SaxoTrader from saxo bank as trading platforms. They are also brokes. I would like to use Ninja Trader or Tradestaion, but I don't know how t go about this. Do I have to set up an account with an out of the country broker or does anybody know if I can set it up with some Norwegian or Skandinavian brokers? Hope somebody has an answer!

You could use the TradeStation platform for charting purposes only (intraday etc) and use a broker in your own country, but it would be a waste of the platform trading features and strategy testing ability. TradeStation now are brokers and you can open an account with them for as little as $5000. If you make just a few trades a month then there is no platform fee (usually $100/month). This would mean opening a US trading account with TS. They have a London office, but I don't know if they offer broker services in Europe.

Thank you for your reply! This is just about how I figured it is and it's realy no problem to wire funds, but do you know anything about the tax issues when you open an out of the country account?

What tax issue?

You tell the us broker you are norwegian and pay taxes in norway, and there is no us tax.

You then handle the income exactly like any income you would have on your norwegian account.

True, there would be no US tax oblugation.

Is Tradestation2000i the same as Multicharts? And is this the software where I do the programming?

I cant find any information on netfonds or on multicharts telling me your can use either with the other? How do I go about to do this?
