Hi

I will soon be relocating to Toronto from ireland and was wondering if anyone could recommend any proprietary trading firms in Toronto. I have 7 years FX short term trading in the interbank market and am looking for a change be it futures fx or equities. Any help at all much appreciated.

Regards

For some reason it's tough to find a complete listing of forex prop firms both in Canada and the US. There may be someone that could help from our forum. I will be creating a forex prop list shortly...stay tuned.

Regards

"Bravehearts" firm is in Canada, don't know if thats in Toronto though or if it is even close

CFT are based in Montreal I believe.

Ferris88 I am in a similar, arguably more difficult, situation to you. Im currently studying an MSc and am due to graduate in august...after which my family and I are relocating to Toronto. I am interested in joining a firm or bank as a junior trader. I have zero experience, other than that gained from paper trading using online simulators. From my initial research it seems that the only viable avenue, for someone without experience, would be the graduate program of one of the larger banks e.g. RCB, however this would require me to apply in September and then wait until the following year to start...not the most attractive proposition. Are you aware of any firms that recruit all year round? Any advice from yourself or anyone on this site with relevant information would be appreciated.
