hi everyone
i recently had a conversation with someone who told me that he trades in shares all day. he told me he uses some software that helps him to sell and buy at the right times. the way he spoke he must being doing quite well. he told me he paid 3 0r 4k.
ive been looking through the forum and there seems to be lots of software out there.
can anyone recommend some software and any type of course i could take.
I saw something on the internet costing 9k and its supposed to teach you everything.
any advice would be grateful , thank you

Hi Zed,

It all depends on what you are looking to trade? I think the best thing if you are new to the markets would be to start out spread betting. I would recommend CMC Markets, they hold regular free seminars for people like yourself explaining about their products and how the markets work. I recommend you download their demo software from their website to see how you find it.

Of course there are other providers but I find CMC to give the tightest spreads, best support and best training for beginners.

Hope thats of help to you!

Cheers,

Zed,

Sound advice from RagingBull.

Further, and even more importantly, I feel: don't fork out that kind of cash for any system. They are all a crock. There is enough advice and guidance on this and other internet boards to assist you in developing your own system, or using the same methods/systems as someone else. And it's free.

If you do buy a system, it wil be your first, and worst, investment.

Plenty of people are only too happy to help where they can - just ask.

Grant.

hi everyone

thanks for that, i agree that i could probably get all the answers i want on here. but even if i read every single you cant beat someone showing you have its done face to face. thats why i was asking about courses.
also i see sites that offer practice accounts so can some one recommend one of those please.

thank you

Zed,

Like I say CMC have a practice account, as do Capital Spreads. Have a look around and try as many accounts as you can so you both get practice and find out how successful you may be and also try out different providers.

There is quite a bit of info for beginners on this site

www.heavytrader.com

There are videos explaining how CFD's, Spreadbetting, Forex work, aswell as a link to download a demo account.

Cheers,

Hi zedane, I use a system that sounds similar to the one you describe. See what your friend says tonight. if he is a member he should be able to get a discount for you.
