Just realised IG.Com is no longer worth touching with a barge pole

I have an account with IG but don't really use them much because i can get better spreads and better margin requirements elsewhere. I occasionally use them for their binary bets with not excellent results. I did a binary bet today with the ftse to be above a certain point at 16:29 but some how lost because IG does not expire the binary at 16:29 like the ticket says but a few minutes later and said the market went down after 16:29 and is the reason i lost.
If the market went down after 16:29 that should not be my problem because your expiry time was 16:29.

You should read their T&Cs , they did nothing wrong , they rely on bloomberg/Reuters , ask for a screenshot they will provide it for you , at least that's what they did for me .

I'd check the facts. You may accuse them of many things and they may do many things if they can get away with it, but I doubt they they would do something like that unless its a genuine error. Check it. I used to think they moved the market to take my £1 a point stop!!!

I don't use them much because they just don't feel right anymore. I will close the account and continue where i normally trade. don't have breath to spare on them because they will always have an excuse.
