Hi
received a call from HK-pacific located in hong kong about an investment.
Now I can find any information about this broker, are they scamming me?
I have not contacted them, they called me up!
Is there a way i can make sure they are not scammers?

Anyone who cold calls you about 'investments' is out to scam you. If you dont believe me ask these guys where they are regulated and see what excuse you get. You can be 100% certain that if you deal with people like this you will lose your money.
 
This is a scam. Any money you send them will vanish.

That is all there is to it.
 
I have asked them about hteir regulation numbers etc, but they just gave me some excuse about me beeing able to use theier numbre to i dont know...scam them or something.
I have asekd for the SFC number.
Thank you, I will not proceed!
I can spend the money on a new big screen TV :)

These guys have your number now so they will keep calling you if they think you're stupid enough to fall for it. Have nothing to do with anybody that calls you about shares, they are all crooks, regardless of what company names they use. HK Pacific is their name this week, next week they will call themselves something else.

Alert the SFC as they will screw them. They are on the ball out here and put the FSA to shame

The picture is of the Hopewell Centre as i can see it from my office so at least
they have told one truth on their website.

Which picture is that? Its probably copied from another website.

Hi, I found this forum for the same reason! Thanks you guys to answer these kind of questions, just saved me a lot of money :)
There is just too many people in this world making money in bad ways, hope the bad karma will follow them to the grave.
