Which way today course

Hi

I am new to trading and am thinking of going on this course.
I have been doing a lot of reading on forex for the past few months and find that I am in a state of limbo at the moment.
There seems to be so much information out there on different ways to trade that I feel I don't know where to turn!!
I have quite good technical knowledge but just need a way to put it all together to get consistent profits!!

Had anyone been on this 2 day course??

Do they have a course? I thought it was only a live trading room.

Yes they have a course- its run by Tom Hougaard and Dr. David Paul

If you've got good technical knowledge, I'd suggest getting a demo account and testing a few ideas, see what works for you. You really need to find your own groove in this business sooner rather than later.

I have no experience of it but if you are expecting to be able to trade profitably after a two day course with anyone then you are going to be disappointed.

Don't start with Forex i know the allure of making quick money sounds pleasing to the ear. But your chances are very slim as a starter.Try stocks and futures (commodities/bonds) and then move to Forex later. By the way sachinnath please don't listen to anyone professing on telling you the truth. The reality about this business is that you get inexperience traders referring to a single truth, which in all honesty does not exist.
Start from the beginning and go through the treads the moderators have put down as a starting point. If you need more info, read some books there are some classics out there that should at least fill you in on what this business is about. And by the way I stand by my comment, as a newbie, think carefully before putting any money into forex. Spend time doing your own research; hopefully you will then get to a point of being able to make an educated decision on what’s best for you.

I went on this course. Because I couldn't attend one day, one of the course teachers actually travelled to my home to finish off the course one on one which I was pretty impressed with!! Course material pretty simple, divergences, reversal signs etc, with some of their own twists, but good basic stuff which seems to work.

Since then tried the live trading room, which I think would work, if you're able to sit at a screen all day. I'm not. Just far too busy with family, and REAL work!!! [

] so not really an option for me, otherwise I would happily shellout the £99 pcm for the room, as I genuinely think you'd make the money back.

Two great guys with good SOH and plenty of anecdotal stories to enliven the two days (possibly too many? )

Anyway, I enjoyed it, and would recommend them, though sadly, I havent yet made back the cost of the course ( £999 )

Glad to hear something positive about training for once. I know both these guys, I had an impression that they enjoyed the comic stories aspect as much as teaching. That said they are both experienced traders so I wish you success. Did you learn the "My big fat sister" strategy?

I have not been on the course, but i have had a trial in the live room and they are both good traders, if i ever trade full time i think being a member of the room would be a good idea...
