City Trading Qualifications

Hi there,
Im quite young at 17, studying my A-Levels and now looking for university courses. Was just wondering which qualifications would be desirable to go down the route of city trading?
I am currently taking Economics, Maths, Physics and Chemistry for A-Level and I am looking to take something such as Mathematics and Finance at Univeristy.
Is this sufficient or are there desirable subjects/universities to have been to?

You need a first in a numerate degree from a redbrick uni... then its pot luck whether you make the grad schemes... good luck

I've had the IMC exam followed by the CFA, suggested to me as entry routes, although I am in a slightly different situation in that I am older and looking at a career change rather than being in the lucky position of being young and being pre-university

I don't think you can get funding for either of those though.....

I think Aukies suggestion is the norm...
