Trading the NQ using simple S/R and minimum of indicators

Hey everyone,i have been trading for some time now and i would like to share my newest method that i feel is working very well for me.

Before this i was using alot of ema's and to many indicators, and i found out that the more indicators i was removing the better i was doing, funny isnt it hehe

So after going true i soon found out that the use of indicators will never get me anywhere,i was making money with it but not as much as i would like to.
So i decided to put most of it into the trashcan and start over, and i ended up with something simple and "easy" to use. And that i belive most people can use after some practice.

Before i say anything more here is the setup:

3min chart with Wooodies EMA(Standart setttings)+Slow stochastic (10.3.2)
10min chart with Woodies EMA(Standart settings)+Slow stochastic (10.3.2)
30min chart with Woodies EMA(Standart settings)+Slow stochastic (10.3.2)

That is all you need, those who are wondering that the wooodie ema does, then here is the simple explenation:

It gives you the direction of the market on that timeframe it is used one, and i use it actively to find when i can change my bias from long to short, as i always want to trade on the same direction of where price is pushing. ANd i use the stochastics to find where price is likely to move to.

For those who dont have the Woodies EMA,they a can use a 5ema and a 15ema on the charts instead of the Woodies EMA, there is more explanation in the video.

The rules for the method and how to trade is in the video , and as i sayed, im sure there is something i have forgotten to metion, so i will add more and more as i add more videos.

I have a link here to a video where i talk about the method and how i trade it ,its the first video of many that i will upload, i will upload a video eachday from the current day's trading and explain where the trades where taken and why i took them, as little word of wisdom now and then. This first video is very simple, i am sure there is a fe things i have forgotten to mention, but i will try to go true everything as i post a video each day.

Use windows media player to play this video.

bnaimy started this thread Here is the link to the room where i am live and trading everyday using this method.

I will be live and talk about where i am looking to go long and where to go short and where we try to make sense of the market. I am only trading the NQ market.

Room is open from 09:00 to 15:30 usa(New York time), everydat from monday to friday.
And closed when market is close.

Room is open to those who want to learn this method and or maybe follow the trade we take. And whenever i have the time i also help if that is needed, or if anyone have any questions. And chitchat for those who get tired of talking to them self.

I recommend everyont to download the palktalk software and use that to access the room, the webversion is pretty ****.

OK! You still have three indicators + S/R. Before it was 4 indicators + S/R.

Dear Cryoplasm, by your post you seem to have something on your mind.
Feel free to let use know what it might be, ive been around long enough to read in betwen the lines buddy.

These idicators are more passive and not used activly to enter trades are entered based on S/R and not on the indicators. Previously i was entering based on ema's.Now i am entering based on S/R. The Woodies EMA i used for direction and trend and stochastic for momentum.

Yes indeed you are too polite Bashir.

I was reaffirming that you've got one less indicator than before.

Now, I do advocate using as few indicators as possible. It's all about seeing short-term patterns in what is a chaotic system (ie, long). Anything more, and it becomes a case of over-analysing markets/trends. So called chaos sets in, the predictor is unstable long term.

A good analogy to this is weather prediction. The weatherman can predict the weather over the momentary short term but not much more than that. They have a standard set of indicators at work there which they repeatedly iterate on their present time data.

Hey buddy, how was stocks today, i hope you had a great day.
Well there is no problem singh, its only that we all need to be dedicated to one market.

If there are to many things going on at the same time then it will only make use loose concentration. But i am looking forward to talking to you tomorow, maybe you can share your experience with trading stocks.

You have a great day buddy

Regards
