Real time economic data

Real time is needed - I think CNBC is a few seconds behind, so I miss the huge unpredictable spike in both directions.

On the other hand, there's always spam...

I was paying attention on todays Canadian's retail sales, they posted the number before I see it anywhere alse. Good enought for me.

I follow releases in several webs, and sometimes ones are faster than others.

Which do you find to be the fastest?

And what about looking in the "source" point.
I mean, watch the COnference Board web directly, for example?
Data will be published there before than in those calendars like FOrexFactory, right?

On today’s FED report I switched on Bloomberg TV (on real tv, not web) and had www.newsdatareport.com side by side, the rate appeared on the website at least 1 second earlier that the TV. This is just comparing with the TV, I am sure that there are much faster sources but for those who look for free fast news delivery newsdatareport is good enough.

The fact that you consider this mob "fast and accurate" implies you trade off news. Yet you also state, quite correctly, that "I am sure that there are much faster sources" ie seem quite happy to accept that your source is slow.

Yes, it implies.

Yes, I accept it.

You got me :smart:

But in anycase, my whole point is that I suggest a source that covers my needs, get the numbers fast and free. If you have an alternative way then please let the rest of us know. You look very experienced, over 1000 posts in this forum, you should know something more.
