I agree with you 100% . This seems to be the case with Peter Smith , from what I have been told . One person I know describes Smith as "The sort of person who walks into a revolving door behind you . but comes out in front of you " I think that there may be a good number of people interested in his whereabouts .

raysor started this thread According to GE Global Equity Partners he was CEO in 2009
Is your info up to date and have you any more info?
Taken from thier website:
January 2009
WHO'S WHO HISTORICAL SOCIETY
The CEO of Global Equity Partners PLC, Peter Smith has this week been recognised for the second time by the elite organisation Who's Who International and has been made an 'honoured member of the Historical Society'. He was first recognised in 2003 after his name was put forward by a number of Industry professionals after a very succesful business expansion programme taking his previous company from a very small base to a company with $2.2bn on its books and an American stock market listing. Now again in 2009 he has been formerly recognised as he builds his new company Global Equity Partners PLC with its planned EU floatation in 2009. To be recognised once by such an organisation is an achievement in itself, to be recognised twice demonstrates an exceptional talent in the business world.

International Whos Who has been documenting biographies for History since 1928 and is there to recognise succesful Individuals in various areas of expertise by listing them among their peers.

All part of the game, just google 'who's who scams' and you'll see that most of them are just online scams that take a few hundred dollars off people to get listed on their website.

This thread is nothing to do with scams. It started off by asking for information about Peter Smith.

I came across this tread just by chance and I ve had dealings with GB mining in the Middle East, I must say I was a little shocked to read about the history of Mr Wilmot's past as well as his current predicament. However, I must say that I did purchase shares at what must be said was an absolute gift price, I sold them about 2 weeks ago for almost 3 times what I paid for them. So it's not all bad, it's just a question of timing and knowing what your doing.

Believe me I've lost money as well but that's been down to greed more then being scammed and if most people were really honest with themselves the only reason they Start slating people on these sites is because they didn't do their home work but feel they need someone to blame, it's human nature.
