Haven't heard of at least half of them tbh. Initial reaction is to keep away from at least 7 of them.

what?? if you haven't heard of at least half of them you are probably not into forex my friend

I know the major companies in the market and apart from 2, maybe 3 of the ones you listed I haven't heard of them. As a general rule: I stay away from anything which insinuates FX is a get rich quick scheme eg. "Hot forex" and also I wouldn't touch any company offering bonuses for depositing.

FXCM fined over $20 million
Forex.com fined $500k
How many of the others are based on some third world island with no regulation?

I can't even be bothered to look.

cant believe that list at all, it depends on who you ask, all these polls can be rigged, look at t2win awards this year, there is no way we can vote against anyone so anyone is capable of rigging the poll etc

1. AVAFX

Forex Brokers | Forex Broker Reviews & Ratings

AvaFX is a somewhat questionable forex outfit based in Israel (with a minimal presence in the British Virgin Islands and an office in Ireland). Just established in 2006, the organization walks a very fine line between an obvious scam and a legitimate business. It is starting to gain a poor reputation, which will hopefully deter some traders from gambling their accounts with an unpredictable and possibly predatory broker.

Location: Tel Aviv, Israel
Guaranteed stop losses: No - orders executed at best available price
Swap-free accounts: Yes - no extra charges and available to everyone, not just Islamic traders
Typical spread on EUR/USD: 3 pips (0.0003)
Order processing:Market Maker

there is a lively discussion about this broker(forexfactory forum)

I'm surprised they are not on the list. They have a UK site

it's really not surprising, the list is from a dodgy site that uses affiliate linking within bogus articles, hence the star quality of most on the list. the common denominator of that list therefore is they likely have a lucrative affiliate program, maybe.
