Work experience as broker in London Wanted!

Hi all,

I'm studying for the IMC unit 1 and 2 and hope to sit exams in January.

I'm looking to gain work experience in London as a stockbroker.

If anyone has any suggestions or has a genuine offer it would be much appreciated.

I'm a director of a building company working in the Bromley area, you can see my company at www.mxbuilding.co.uk. I'd really like to join an industry where I can work with people that are as motivated and determined as myself to succeed.

My customers that I build for are in the financial sector. I can see their achievements and want the same. They come from different backgrounds, trading, broker and wealth management. I spoke to a friend of a friend who turned out to be a broker. He encouraged me to pursue a career in this field considering my skill set and the potential rewards.

So really I'm still open to suggestions, I'm just gathering information as I go. Any ideas Gecko?

I am extremely interested in gaining these qualifications to. Are you doing it independantly? If so what texts books were used and what was the process of entering the exam. cheers
