Windows media player 9.0 problem

Hi,

I got a new lap top with this pre-installed. Whenever I play a video stream (e.g. from Bloomberg or the BBC), the left hand side of the picture is repeated to the left of the main picture (like a ghost). Anybody got any ideas how I can get rid of this?

Just turned down video acceleration.
