I would like to trade indecies instead of stocks. I believe some indices have ETF (Exchange Traded Fund) equivalents e.g. S&P500. Is it possible to trade indices that there is no ETF for without resorting to options or spread bets and other levaraged instruments? I want to be able to do normal stock-style trades on the various indecies.
Also, is there a good web site for index performance+tracking?
