I am a daytrader, but recently I have been looking into shorting penny stocks and holding them for a day or two.
What I wanted to know is what happens if I am holding a stock that get's halted by the SEC?
if the stock reopens at a later date then I can close out my position, that I understand,
but I read something about some stocks that never open again after being halted, if that's the case what happens to my short position?
