Jarvis wins 96 mln stg contract from Brent Council, Jews' Free School
LONDON (AFX) - Jarvis PLC said it has signed a contract worth 96 mln stg
with the governing body of Jews' Free School and London Borough of Brent to
develop a new school over a 25-year period.
The JFS school will cost 42 mln stg to develop and the school is expected to
be completed in August 2002.
Jarvis will provide the new school with a range of services including
building maintenance, security, ground maintenance and IT, it said.
Chief Executive of Jarvis Accommodation Services Henry Lafferty said: "By
managing the financing, design, construction and facilities management of a
school, whole-life costs can be minimised, to the benefit of all parties."
