$GM is up 40% since the start of this year and is trading just under its 52-week high of $57.05 a share.

General Motors reported a $1.93 earnings per share for the quarter, earning $37.50 billion. Its revenue for the quarter was up 21.7% on a year-over-year basis. Currently it has a price-to-earnings ratio of 24.0.

The company unveiled last Sunday a Chevrolet Bolt compact SUV. The Bolt Electric Utility Vehicle will go on sale early this summer as a 2022 model. By the end of 2025, 40% of GM’s U.S. models will be battery electric vehicles.

Thats a good idea fundamentally too. I think with so much stunted growth for the car industry there could be a large influx of people buying newer cars later in the year too
