Hi, I have a general question:
What is the maximum bet size people will trade GBP/USD on an IGIndex account or more generally a spread betting account. At what levels do problems begin?

Are you more willing to trade with higher position sizes with MT4 brokers?

It's highly debatable and you'll hear conflicting stories. I've trade £100 a point without problems (not for long) but others have complained that things change after £10 a pip. Personally, I would limit myself to £10 a pip with an SB company to be safe. It could be that above some level trades are switched from software to a live dealer and that's when delays happen and accusations of unfair practice start.
