My first post here - been reading around for the past couple of days and there is a lot of good information here, so firstly thanks for that.
Secondly, I was wondering what everyone's opinion was on the HSBC (HSBA.L) rights issue?
I've been reading through a little research on the matter and have managed to find a couple of analyst notes about it however I am still unsure of how this dilution of shares will affect the price. Usually I would imagine a sharp drop however the HSBC has been in a long-term bearish trend and I do not have any details on expected take-up.
If anyone would like a copy of the statement on the rights issue from Knight Vinke let me know and I'll be more than happy to email it through.
