How to Profit during a Bear Market if you can’t short sell?

Hi everyone

I do not have margin with my broker so I can’t short sell; I was thinking that it will be a nice thread to discuss HOW TO PROFIT IN STOCKS DURING A BEAR MARKET WITHOUT SHORT SELLING.

I do not think that the Bull Market is over, but I thought with little success what could I do if I Bear Market was coming and I could not short sell

Buy put index options or for that matter puts on anything you like for the down side.
