How I made £1m from the £4trn FX market 30 mins a day from the comfort of my bedroom

The last time I traded approx £150 per pip or approx 22 lots was nearly 4 yrs ago

Nowadays, I never trade over £100 per pip or in US lingo - approx 15/16 lots and most of my trades are from 3 to 12 lots depending on the scalp i am undertaking and the time of the session /day - hardly institutional or even small commercial level but the main group of retail traders I know and have met rarely trade over 1 or 2 lots - and most retailers are on $1 or up to $5 a pip.

So in theory a part time retail trader making 200 pips a month would be delighted with his $1000's. Full time - you either need a lot more pips - and any good full time trader should make over 400 pips a month fairly consistently - or you are on a lot larger lot sizes - depending on the size of your capital account and you stop / risk size

For 4 yrs it was GFT ( UK ) - and this last 14 months just 2 retail brokers - Dukascopy and FXPro - both ECN brokers and I only trade FX anyway - no Gold silver Oil etc etc

GFT has used to check ever order over 15 lots manually ( yes - that's what they told me and i used to think BS ) - and therefore their delay was always between 20 and 50 seconds before you knew if it had been accepted.

No problems with either new broker so far up to 13 lots and 5 -10 lots seem to enter just as quick as 1 lot entries

Dukascopy and FXPro - both ECN brokers

nah FX pro is not an ECN broker. They are a naughty dealer who throw around terms like 'ECN', 'STP', 'NDD'. What naughty brokers like this do is use an ECN price feed to allegedly power their dealer quotes. It's not the same and should be banned imo but hey ho. At the bottom of their website it says they are regulated by the FCA and CySEC. Pretty funny they felt they needed to get regulated in Cyprus. I can hardly think of anything less credible, it's up there with a car dealer giving you a cheeky wink or saying your prime broker is the bank of Nigeria. lololol

dunno about dukascopy, i think they might have a genuine ECN but would be wise to check your orders are going into the book.

I will admit CM - Dukas were quicker and I did like their platform better - but FXP Qgave me better terms which under my terms have to remain confidential to get me on board with me bringing in a £70 k capital account and a minimum amount of calls per month.

I appreciate they are based in Cyprus for tax reasons but I deal with a London Office - although not met them face to face yet.- I have talked to them over the recent manufactured spiked on their charts the last 2 weeks ;-)

Yes - don't worry - i will check them out more as i did have hassle originally in 2004/5 with CMC and they ended up being fined heavily and losing thousands of their retail customers

Is there a minimum account size for retail traders with LMAX ?

Cheers

last time I checked they had a minimum account size of $10,000 but say the magic words 'introduced by alpha novae' and you can open an account with $1000. if you are a point and click trader then you will not find better execution for such a low deposit.

Am I enjoying the exchange - hell yes. This is awesome. This is basically what the internet was made for.

I watched one of the videos on that other thread - breathtaking!

You've been buying chang at Bar 9 again...

I'm not getting drawn into these drawn-out depressing exchanges any more, I'm going to specialise in ironic one liners from now on.

Notice i say retail Forex market - I have never traded anything else in my approximate 11 years. Any video / trading statement / bank account etc etc is of no real value - they can all be falsely manufactured and may not be genuine.

It's generally pretty easy to spot a fakey - in fact I haven't personally seen one slip through yet on T2W where there wasn't an obvious error in the editing. Poor Davie Robertson keeps messing his up. Comes with not being an expert I suppose. Maybe you can do better or just post the real thing. You've nothing to lose seeing as it will immediately prove your claims as fakes are generally revealed within minutes. I've told you before that I don't care if you do make money, I can only take umbrage at inconsistencies as I see them.

And I do now think you're an expert scalper. I'm new to this ironic troll stuff so just getting started as of this paragraph. :)

So at what level of earnings will he actually move out of his parents house?
