Can someone help explain how FTSE 100 European option strike prices change over time?

I have read that the strike price intervals are 25, 75.

Looking at the March strike prices (on Liffe) most are indeed 25,75 but with some at 00, 50 intervals.

April strikes are showing no 25, 75 intervals at all - made up entirely of 00, 50.

Is there some point nearer expriry where the 25, 75 intervals are introduced and some of the 00, 50's are dropped?

kind regards
Luga Tyler.

When first intoduced (late 80's iirc) the FTSE Europena style options had strikes at 25 & 75 to distinguish them from the american stlye options (00 & 50 strikes). Looks like the exchange is simply reverting back to 00 & 50 strikes for all new option series that start trading?
