Hello Everyone

I'm a newbie to FX, so apologies that this will be a very trivial question :

What is a good site(s) to see the Euro v Dollar Charts and Also Sterling v Dollar?

Preferably with weekly /monthly / yearly options.

Thx in advance

Navigation in the chart, zooming, ....are characteristics that not every chart has. the above link is a really flexible and easy to use online charting platform. specially the time frame navigation is really easy and you can deattach every chart in a separate window(a window for each pair) and much more.

I use prorealtime.com. It's a subscription site (with a free 7 day trial) taht costs about £100 per quarter. It gives live realtime charts over any time frame, and you can configure your screen to display as many charts as you like at once. So far I have found it very good, but having not used anything else couldn't comment on how it stacks up to the competition.

http://quote.fxtrek.com/misc/fxcm.asp - FXCM Forex FX Trek I charts which use S&P Comstock data as an indicative price source. S&P Comstock provides a market average of prices for over 20 of the largest banks in the world. Have been told that the differences between FXCM pricing and S&P Comstock pricing is negligible.

http://quote2.fxtrek.com/misc/fxcm2.asp - Identical to FXtrek I -- except it utilizes quotes from the FXCM Forex dealing desk. These java-based charts offer present and historical quotes from FXCM's dealing desk.

Hi

I have witnessed the SPcomstock data charts moving in 2-3-4 pip steps - while the FXCM data intellicharts do not follow suit - and this is during non-volatile periods of the day (15:00 GMT). The SP Comstock datafeed does strike me as being a bit busier and less smooth in its movements.

OK - have made another discovery. This is the new charting package that CMC are giving fx and cfd customers. I trade with them but only for spreadbetting, so I don't seem to get this yet. Still think it's a great package though.

Is anyone using the CMC branded version of this system? Do you get all the same bells and whistles? (backtesting, custom indicators, excel dde, candlestick pattern recognition etc)
I use the CMC charts and have a CMC forex account. What do you want me to compare it to?

Cheers,

GammaJammer,

Well it will be a good weekend project for me so I'll try to find a manual for the it-finance charts through CMC and learn all the functions. I pretty much stick to looking at price so I don't know all about all the bells and whistles.

Cheers,

GammaJammer,

I got a manual from CMC for the charts. If you send me an email address, I can send it to you. It's 3.63 MB and 37 pages long.
