Hi, This is my first post on the site.
I have a problem which i am hoping to overcome.
I am in my late twenties and have always had an eye to work for inter dealer brokers of some kind. When I graduated from university 05 I tried to go through the graduate route. My 2.2 ( edinburgh Uni) and lack of internships else where effectively stalled my traditional route.
I then set up, with a firend, a business which has been running for 3 years. It has become successful and effectively I have managed myself an exit. This leaves me with the same disire to head back into the financial sector.
I booked myself onto a 7 city course and tackled the IMC, which i passed, ( second time of asking).
I am going to do to the dirivatives CISI exam soon. As i am going on a course next week at 7 city and hopefully pass it in 2 - 3 weeks time after revision.
I have tentatively started to approach recruitiment people but am still at a loose as to where to head.
Does anyone have ideas as to what to do next. I am trying to network with limited success.
Any ideas would be really helpful.
