Part time trader, I work on the daily and 8 hour time frames. I build my own systems which are executed on a manual basis. I backtest my systems manually with past data on a 'bar by bar' basis to get an idea of expected returns. I trade mainly price action, and hence while my systems have many fixed rules, they tend to have a discretionary element depending upon the setup and current market conditions.
