Great thread. It has always annoyed me how losing traders always blame the broker - the worst being they moved the market to hit my stop!

There are a couple of UK based review sites - would be a good place to look there first, and be careful of any service that doesn't publish precise open/close history. I've read that some don't include the spread in their results and another that claims twice the profit if target 2 is reached...

I would think that any signal service can be used for spread betting - signal services are usually focused on the market (forex, indices, equities etc.) not on the broker type. I would think the same signals can be used for spread betting.

With a small account it is useful to compound and grow your stake size incrementally whilst still complying with your money management rules. IG will facilitate this as you'll be able to trade at say £2.12 rather than have to make a 50% increase to £3.00.

What's your USP - what do you offer that a demo account doesn't? If there are any advantages over a traditional demo acc, you should point them out so they are clear to the visitor within 5 - 10 seconds of landing on the home page.

£3k asking price - that is ridiculous!!! There's nothing special about TrendSignal - their system can be closely replicated from readily available indicators. Remember - it's not the system that will make you a successful trader - it's your mindset. Here's a great video from the Master himself...

To me you should have known what to do before entering the trade - if you were willing to risk 20 points to make a particular return, then you should have stuck to your plan and accepted the loss, which should be a small percentage of your account. Using your 'intuition' might have worked this...

This thread isn't about FXCM, but for the record it would be useful to explain what exactly FXCM was fined for - you've denied it was for slippage malpractices via the Virtual Dealer Plugin, so what exactly was it for?

So what were you (FXCM) fined $2 million for - I thought it was something to do with unfair slippage created by using the Virtual Dealer Plugin.
