Hi, Does anyone know any software in which I can view equities listed on exchanges by sector ? So I could load up the FTSE then view the banking sector and get a listing of all stocks in that section including the days volumes, prices and anything else.

Yes. Investment banks are quite snobby. You'll need to get your degree and hope that they take you on for an internship. You wont get any type of internship until you're going into your 3rd year.

If you goto a Uni in the top 15 / 10 you have a decent chance of getting a trading position. Obviously going to Oxbridge / LSE would make life easier but oh well. If you are a strong candidate you are a strong candidate, nothing can really take away from that. Once in an interview its pretty...

All well and good but london is not a city you want to live in with little or no salary :)
