why don't you stick to your plan?

Ah, I'm trading for living, you know. I'm only a newbie in posting here. The reason I don't contribute too much is because I'm just too busy trading. My plan or setup or strategy works. and it's sh!t only for those on the other side of my trade. Good writers don't make a good traders. Funny how...

why don't you stick to your plan?

Okay, this is not for traders using an automatic entry/exit system. Jesse Livermore said the reason most traders fail is because they're trading without a plan. Being a discretionary trader I am trading my plan (meaning "I have one"). However being only human I ain't perfect either. So my...

If you had to choose 1 Trading Psychology book . . .

I thought The Psychology of Trading by Brett Steenbarger was a great book. I've read it three times. It's more like a quick fix. But quick fixes don't last for very long. If the message sinks into you over a longer time it sticks with you. That's if I had to choose 1 trading psychology book, it...

Bottom Is In Place, Volume , Trin Confirm

I wouldn't go short right now either (speaking long-term). I hurt myself many times selling bottoms. I'm doing hard getting sell-signals while the downtrend is still on its way. Beware the short-cover rallies! Looking for the long-term I look at weekly intervals. I'm not quite sure if it will...

I agree with you JoeShmoe. Personally I think we'll bottom between November and December at around 7500.

Maybe they're just as glad that they don't have a customer that poses a risk potential to them as well. Every broker will ask you for your net worth and sources of income. That's normal procedure. IB is one of the best and most serious brokers in the industry.

    Ensign

Your answers are most appreciated Paul! I inquired directly at Ensign about integrated trading (though I heard they're slow in responding e mails). One more question if you don't mind; about the custom indicators. I recall there is a web site or a forum where Ensign users share their ideas or...

I'm trading Nasdaq Stocks. I'm already subscribing to IB's Level 1 quotes. What I see that IB's Bid/Ask quotes are faster than eSignal's during times of high volume. So I want to keep IB's datafeed. Ensign doesn't offer integrated trading, no?

Does anybody use Ensign Software for trading? With $39 per month I'm considering dumping eSignal. Can anyone tell me about Ensign's pricing structure; what are the additional costs for data feed, market subscriptions, Level 1 or 2, etc?

TS is a stand-alone charting and quotation application and a brokerage service. I don't think it will work with TWS since they're competition.
