I don't get any of these calls, I used to I think my approach worked: Tell them you are a professional futures trader, to eff off and never call your number again!! Gets you off the 'Suckers' list pretty quick.

Econ, Sounds like you are going through the same hoops and concerns that I did a few years ago when I was looking to save commissions over IB s. I think that as Bootsy says if you haven't got a 100k ac where TT s $800 ish a month is a small percentage, then there is no one broker that fits...

DDT is an introducing broker, one man band it appears a guy called Howard Lender. His CS is spot on, rarely wait more than a couple of hours on a reply to a basic enquiry, and more important stuff is very quick. They clear through Ironbeam, which it seems is a subsidiary of Wedbush these days...

Look at Sierra Chart, excellent platform if ur on a budget, you can customise it to look like TT if you want! Until ur at a level to get volume discounts then have a look at deepdiscounttrading, blingy name and website but all the pricing is there without having to submit an enquiry. YM at $3.34...

All good advice so far..... I'd go with IB, don't think you'll find cheaper for US Stocks, and you do get the added benefit of other products incl their own FX offering which you can use to trade and not just for your currency conversions. Their are pros and cons whatever you decide to use as...

Trade the Currency Futures? If you already trade for a living then likely worthwhile getting a CME membership to get the Exchange Fee discount, though if you're a big player might not be enough liquidity?
