It's nothing to do with interest paid on their unencumbered funds. It is specifically clients that cannot get their funds out, and IBs not receiving their commission and rebates. Plus them firing 450 of their staff. If you ask me, that is a big red flag.

Well, it depends on if you are being sarcastic or not... Basically they are not giving back their clients' or IBs' money back. They have already 160 court cases filled against them in Cyprus. Isn't that not enough?

Hi Guys, I have heard that IronFX have been firing plenty of their employees. There is a crazy amount of people, like 300-400 and that there are 160 court cases against them in Cyprus... It seems that they are in deep trouble. Anyone knows what is going on?? Is it true?

Well, if it states that it is just the bookie who is out due to Force Majeur, and then all of the responsibilities are on the client, then no.

It depends what is said in the Terms And Conditions of the different houses. Some of them, like FxPro, and I think Oanda, mention that they guarantee the Negative Balance Protection. And they have done it. Some of them, like Gain Capital (forex.com), don't have it in their Terms and Conditions...

Are you serious?? A broker registered and "regulated "in Seychelles??? No thank you. And definitely not buying into that news. And the domain is just from July 2014... So they are not even 1 year old. Sounds like a scam to me.

So FXCM not only is chasing the negative balances, but is also covering them from the accounts that have positive balances from the traders that have more than one account. How about that??? It's stated that it is due to Force Majeur (act of God). I guess the the SNB's Jordan has been promoted...

Oucha... That will hurt. They are done for. No one will trade with them again.

Well, it definitely would, but, since most of it was hedged with LPs, I guess it will not really reveal anything. I don't think ANY of us would have imagined this sort of stuff going on. Not even Jordan (damn him).

Im so sorry to hear that... That's very tough... I do hope that they will not be pursuing with their claims, as you are a retail client, and I don't think that they have a chance. Any one else...?
