One consideration that nobody has mentioned yet is that if you do look to work in financial markets after graduating, a history of actually taking part in markets during your studies will look good on your CV, or will at least demonstrate genuine enthusiasm.

Peakoil may well be right. The easiest thing to do would be to give them a call though. If its not a bug then they should be able to tell you why you're seeing that pretty quickly

I've not used FP, but I find the ETX platform to be much slicker than IG's or Tradefair. Ig's seems slow, maybe due to the sheer number of products. I use ETX for most stuff and then IG for when I want to have a look at more obscure markets.
