    Re: gold - I think it's too high, everyone jumped on the gold bandwagon when India bought, and everyone's expecting China to buy, if they do, I think sell the fact, if they don't, sell anyway haha.

    Cheers, point taken, so although it was news regarding primarily the US, all forex will take a hit one way or the other? All forex pairs I just looked at went volatile then regardless of whether USD was in the pair

    EUR/USD looking bearish possibly...? only paper trading but here goes nothing - short @1.4841 target:1.475 SL: 1.49

    Any thoughts on EUR/USD guys? Hourly chart showing it clearly broken out of the downtrend posted earlier. Now in a possible trading range between 1.47 and 1.485?

    Good shouts WS, only paper trading, but learnt lots! My only question is, what charts are you using? Because I'm just watching the quick charts on worldspreads/igindex and the entry points you quote don't match up? The answer's probably really obvious, but it's just bugging me! Thanks

    Thanks Kaisen, Took a couple of reads but i think I understand! So would you have gone short just minutes before the announcement? Because going short at the start of the day probably wouldn't have produced as big a gain if any.

    Sorry for the newbie question, but how did you guys get the news on durable goods quickly enough to take advantage of the short? Or was it based on unofficial news before the report?
