Cheers, point taken, so although it was news regarding primarily the US, all forex will take a hit one way or the other? All forex pairs I just looked at went volatile then regardless of whether USD was in the pair
Any thoughts on EUR/USD guys? Hourly chart showing it clearly broken out of the downtrend posted earlier. Now in a possible trading range between 1.47 and 1.485?

My only question is, what charts are you using? Because I'm just watching the quick charts on worldspreads/igindex and the entry points you quote don't match up? The answer's probably really obvious, but it's just bugging me! Thanks

Took a couple of reads but i think I understand!
So would you have gone short just minutes before the announcement? Because going short at the start of the day probably wouldn't have produced as big a gain if any.
Sorry for the newbie question, but how did you guys get the news on durable goods quickly enough to take advantage of the short? Or was it based on unofficial news before the report?
